Hindus and Sikhs threatened by Jihadi Muslims in Poonch-Kashmir
Leave or else you will have to pay a heavy price
Poonch (Jammu-Kashmir) – On the evening of 14th October in Degwar sector of Poonch District, near Pakistan border, religious fanatical Muslims pasted posters on the front of the houses of Hindus. This was followed by a threat in Urdu language that ‘All Hindus and Sardar (Sikhs) community are warned to leave this area as soon as possible, otherwise you will have to pay a heavy price’. On getting information about the incident, Poonch Police Station Officer Deepak Pathania along with a security team reached the spot. They confiscated the posters in the presence of the Sarpanch. At the main entrance of ‘Gita Bhawan’ which is the residence of Advocate Mahinder Piyasa, two other posters were seized from outside the house of Sujan Singh. In this regard, Hindus have demanded an action from the Police and the Indian Army against the culprits.

In 1990 too, Posters threatening Hindus to leave their women and property behind. The threats were also issued through loudspeakers on mosques. After that, the Muslims attacked the Hindus and killed them. Because of this, lakhs of Hindus fled Kashmir. They have not been able to return to Kashmir even today.
