After Bihar, Jharkhand Govt also likely to issue caste-wise census

Ranchi (Jharkhand) – After Bihar declared its numbers of caste-wise census, it is said that Jharkhand is also moving in the same direction now. According to political leaders, CM Hemant Soren can place the proposal in the Legislative Assembly. The Chief of ‘All Jharkhand Students Union’ and MLA Sudesh Mahato has made this demand for the census and has challenged the Jharkhand Government and the Congress to implement the census. On the other side the leader of the Socialist Party and previous MLA I P Singh claimed through Twitter that the Jharkhand Government had taken the decision of caste-wise census and the cabinet was going to pass it soon.

Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party in power in Jharkhand had demanded a caste-wise census meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah in 2021. The Government also had informed about implementing it in the Legislative Assembly.
