9 new ‘Vande Bharat Express’ trains started in the country
Will run in 11 States

New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 9 new ‘Vande Bharat Express’ trains via video conference on 24th September. These trains will run in 11 States of the country namely Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Thanks to these trains, the total travel time taken for its journey will be reduced by 2-3 hours. Currently, the ‘Vande Bharat Express’ trains are running on 25 railway lines across the country.

1. Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala)
2. Jaipur – Udaipur (Rajasthan)
3. Vijayawada – Renigunta – Chennai (Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu)
4. Tirunelveli – Madurai – Chennai (Tamil Nadu)
5. Jamnagar – Karnavati (Gujarat)
6. Ranchi – Howrah (Jharkhand and Bengal)
7. Hyderabad – Bengaluru (Telangana and Karnataka)
8. Rourkela – Puri (Odisha)
9. Patna – Howrah (Bihar & Bengal)
