Mumbai – A teaser of the Telugu film ‘Razakar’ has been released. This film is based on true incidents that took place in Hyderabad under Nizam’s regime, an autonomous State even after India’s Independence. Qasim Razvi had formed an Army in the name of ‘Razakar’ during Nizam’s regime. Hindus were severely persecuted by this Army. This film gives information about such persecution. It may be mentioned that after Hyderabad was merged with India, under Police action, the ‘Razakar’ Army was converted into a party called ‘Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen’, i.e., MIM. ‘Razakar’ film has been produced by ‘Samarveer Creations’. The teaser of the film was released in the presence of devout Hindu MLA T Raja Singh from Hyderabad.

Filming of atrocities against Hindus by ‘Razakar’
Qasim Razvi was an Army officer who was always found in uniform. Razvi had ordered the hoisting of the Islamic flag on every house.
Razvi has been shown cutting ‘Yadnyopavit (sacred thread)’ worn by Brahmins.
Nizam says, “Bharat has always been surrounded by many problems; therefore, Hyderabad will remain as an Islamic State. Mosques should be built on all sides. ‘Yadnyopavit’ should be cut off and should be burnt.”
It is seen in the teaser that the ‘Razakar’ Army, riding on horses, is beheading Hindus; killing Hindus with swords; and firing at Hindus. Hindu men are captured, and their moustaches are cut; they are forced to wear Islamic caps. A Brahmin’s ‘Shikha (tuft on the head)’ is cut off. Orders are issued to stop teaching languages like Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi and start teaching the Arabic language.
‘Razakar’ say, “Kafirs, who are not ready to adopt Islam, may be killed.”
In one scene, a ‘Razakar’ is shown spitting in the vessel carrying water used for ritualistic worship.
Hindus are shown as tied and dragged.
Hundreds of Hindus are killed, and their bodies are hanging on trees.
Hindu women are made to witness their husbands and children being thrown in lakes.
Slogans of ‘Allah-O-Akbar’ are raised while killing Hindus.
Hindu women and daughters are raped. Hindus and their houses are burnt.
‘Majlis Bachao Tehreek’ demands ban on the film
On the release of the teaser of ‘Razakar’, Amjed Ullah Khan, the Spokesperson of the organisation ‘Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT)’ from Telangana, said that distorted history has been shown in this film. The film is based on a totally fictional story, intended to spread hatred in society, and should, therefore, be banned. The date of release of the film has not yet been declared, but it is reported that the film will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, along with Telugu.
