Mumbai – ‘I am disappointed to see the popularity of films like Gadar 2, The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story. Their massive popularity is disturbing’, said actor Naseeruddin Shah in an interview given to the ‘Free Press Journal’.

Shah was asked in the interview whether the purpose of film production has changed in Bollywood. Shah replied, ‘The more jingoist you are, the more popular you will be; because this is what has been ruling this country. It is not enough to just love your country, you have to beat drums about it and create imaginary enemies. Filmmakers are being coopted into making films that praise all the wrong things and run down other communities for no reason at all. It is a dangerous trend.’
Editorial Viewpoint
The above films shed light on the atrocities against Hindus and the oppressive and cruel mentality of fanatic Muslims. It is no surprise that a Hindu hater like Naseeruddin Shah is upset with their popularity. Does Shah not want the atrocities committed by Muslims against Hindus to come to light ? Imagine how much hatred towards Hindus such people would have cultivated in their films ? Hindus should now boycott their movies and show them the power of Hindu unity. |
