Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Actor Prakash Raj has yet again made a bizarre statement in which he said that Sanatan Dharma is like dengue fever and it should be eradicated. He was speaking at an event in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had also made a similar statement.

Prakash Raj further said,
1. Although untouchability ended because of Dr Ambedkar, such a mentality still remains in the country. (Prakash Raj possesses the mentality of hatred towards Sanatan, he should first tell when he is going to get rid of it ! – Editor)
2. In Karnataka, a woman asked a Muslim bus conductor to remove the skull cap he was wearing. If tomorrow he wears a mala (beads) around his neck, will you see him as a bus driver or with devotion ? He also made a sarcastic comment that tomorrow such a bus driver will wear a Hanuman cap and pray that the bus remains safe.
3. Everyone should follow their religion. You want to keep the country alive, don’t you ? Everyone wants to live in society. (On one hand, he makes such an appeal, while on the other, he calls for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma. This is nothing but hypocrisy ! – Editor)
4. 18-year-old youths walk with knives and swords in Shri Ramnavami processions. I get disheartened seeing this. They should think about employment and their dreams. I wonder who brainwashed them. (How come Prakash Raj never gets disheartened about Hindu religious processions being attacked from mosques, Hindus being murdered, Hindus being killed due to Jihadi terrorism ? Why does Prakash Raj never speak about the proven fact that Muslims are being brainwashed in madarasas and turned into terrorists ? – Editor)
Prakash Raj’s event opposed by Hindu organisations
Local Hindu organisations had opposed this event of Prakash Raj even before it took place. Activists of these organisations wore black clothes and waved black flags protesting against Prakash Raj and raised slogans against him. The Police later took these activists into custody. The activists had earlier given a statement to the Collector and demanded that Prakash Raj should not be allowed to enter Kalaburagi.
