Nuh (Haryana) – In the aftermath of the violent incident that occurred in Nuh, Haryana on July 31st, there have been allegations and discussions surrounding the involvement of certain individuals in the events. One of these individuals, Monu Manesar, a gourakshak, has been accused of playing a role in the violence due to his alleged provocative messages on Facebook. However, it is important to note that Haryana’s Additional Director-General of Police has stated that both Monu Manesar and Bittu Bajrangi are not responsible for the incident.
Bittu Bajrangi has not been arrested in connection to the violence that transpired in Nuh. His arrest pertains to a distinct matter involving the posting of inflammatory content on social media, according to statements from the Faridabad Police. It is worth clarifying that the incident involving Bittu Bajrangi and the violence in Nuh are separate cases.
Mamata Singh, who is said to have protected Hindus seeking refuge in the Nalhad Temple during the Nuh riots, has offered her perspective on the matter. Regarding Monu Manesar’s messages on social media prior to July 31st, she has emphasised that his call for participation in a procession cannot be construed as an inflammatory speech. She argues that it is not indicative of an intention to incite violence.

Furthermore, Mamata Singh has also addressed Bittu Bajrangi’s arrest. She clarified that his arrest does not pertain to his involvement in the violence. The Faridabad Police took him into custody due to allegations of posting inflammatory content online. On a separate note, the Nuh Police arrested him for reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with an Additional Police Inspector.
In summary, the situation in Nuh involves various individuals, each with distinct circumstances. The allegations against Monu Manesar and Bittu Bajrangi should be considered separately, as they are not directly connected to the violence that occurred on July 31st. Clarifications from law enforcement and individuals like Mamata Singh help shed light on the nuances of the cases and their respective contexts.
