Mysuru (Karnataka) – A childish statement by Prof KS Bhagwan at the Press Conference organised by the ‘Mahisha Dasara Samiti. He said that the famous organisation like the RSS is not a National Volunteers Union, but an organisation that promotes nothing but lies and should be known as National Liars Union.

The former Mayor of Mysore Purshotam said at the Press Conference that for celebrating ‘Mahisha Dasara’ seminars and talks will be organised 1 month before the festival. We are not celebrating Mahisha Dasara  to oppose the traditional Dasara. We are doing this to circulate information about ‘Mahisha’ in the country. If it is proved that the information given by us is false we will not celebrate ‘Mahisha Dasara’ again.

Professor Maheshchandra Guru told the Press that devout Hindus are opposing the celebration of ‘Mahisha  Dasara’ . We are going to tell the Government that ‘Mahisha Research Centres’ should be opened in the Universities of Gulbarga, Mysore, Bangalore and other Karnataka Universities. It is true that now the State has got an anti-Hindu Government, but those in power in the Government all belong to the upper castes. They will not contribute to the progress of the Dalits. Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar has never raised his voice to promote the welfare of the Dalits. He is an opportunist. He does the politics that favours him.
