Dr Adnan Ali Sarkar nabbed for creating ISIS Sleeper cells in Pune

This is another example of how Islamic terrorism is deep rooted in Pune, once known as a peaceful city ! The situation has worsened as no one, from village goons to terrorists, is afraid of the Police. This is shameful !

Pune (Maharashtra) – National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Dr Adnan Ali Sarkar from Kondhwa in Pune on the charge of propagating ISIS’ terrorist ideology. Dr Adnan was a part of the conspiracy of ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ and trained by the terrorists. Along with this, he was also involved in creating sleeper cells in Pune. Dr Adnan Ali Sarkar is the fifth person to be arrested in Pune city. Due to this, it is clear that terrorism has taken deep roots in Pune. This has created a big challenge for the Police and Investigation agencies. (Even if the motives of the arrested have been revealed by the Investigation agencies, how many such people are actually out there ? It is impossible to imagine what they must be plotting ! – Editor)

The NIA report said that Dr Adnan Sarkar, an MD in Anaesthesia, targeted the youth. He was looking out for economically weak youth and turning them into terrorists by luring them with money. Dr Adnan Sarkar posed a threat to the unity, integrity and stability of India.

Sleeper cells are suspected to be active in Kondhwa

Most of the terrorists who were nabbed by the Investigation agencies in the past year were residing in Kondhwa area. This has raised a suspicion whether the sleeper cells are active in Kondhwa, Dapodi, Bopodi, etc. This has become a challenge for the agencies – to trace these people in the densely populated localities of Kondhwa.
