Manipur issue not limited to India but has become a global issue
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury
New Delhi – According to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on 10th August, the violence in Manipur State has a global dimension and is not limited to India. Globally, the violence in Manipur is being referred to as the ‘Internal War’. Both the European Parliament and the US are discussing the violence in Manipur. In light of this, it has become necessary for the Prime Minister to intervene.
Kapil Sibal’s anti-national demand
Similarly, Congress leader Kapil Sibal made an anti-national statement and said in the Supreme Court that a referendum should be held in Kashmir the way a referendum was held in England for ‘Brexit’ (withdrawal of the UK from the European Union). His request was rejected by Chief Justice Chandrachud. (There is no doubt that the public will never re-elect those who make such anti-national statements – Editor)
