New Delhi – After the Supreme Court’s approval, the Archaeology Survey of India has been surveying the Gyanvapi area for the past 4 days. When asked by a journalist, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham stated firmly, “Stop calling Gyanvapi a mosque. It is a Shiva temple.”
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had explicitly stated that Gyanvapi is not a mosque. How can a mosque have a Trishul inside its premises ? We haven’t placed it there. What do the Idols of Deities and the walls adorned with Hindu symbols in Gyanvapi convey ?
On the other hand, on 7th August, the fourth day of the Gyanvapi survey was concluded by the Archaeological Survey of India. Addressing the media on this occasion, Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi, an advocate for the Hindu party, highlighted the use of modern technology during today’s survey. The survey is going smoothly. Women from the Hindu party shared their satisfaction with the ongoing process, expressing full trust in the Court. They are pleased with the survey’s progress so far.
