Chief Minister Sarma further said that Rohingya intruders continue to enter Delhi and Kashmir via Assam. They are being helped by brokers from Tripura. This has been going on for the past few years. If any foreign national comes to India without a passport and visa (permission to stay in the country), he is a threat to India’s sovereignty. We cannot encourage illegal entry into India, be they Rohingya Muslims or Hindus. The Director-General of Police has already been asked to take steps to prevent further intrusion. The District Superintendent of Police for Karimganj has been asked to increase vigilance to prevent intrusion.
