The City of Brampton tweeted about the incident, saying, “The City is deeply disappointed to learn of the recent act of vandalism targeting a park sign, which is an attack on a faith of a community. The matter has been forwarded to the Police. Unfortunately, no one has been arrested yet in connection with such previous incidents in the area. We proudly uphold our values of diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all and these acts of hate will not be tolerated.”
