Belagavi – Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other Saints-Seers demanded in a press conference held at ‘Kannada Sahitya Bhavan’ on 11th July 2023, high-level investigations into the murder of 108 Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj.
Krishna Bhatt, VHP’s District President said, “In-depth study should be conducted of jihadi mentality. The protection of Hindus in the forthcoming period is in our hands. Hindu Dharma will not survive if Hindus sit at home. The murder of Jain Muni is condemnable, and Hindus need to wake up and strive for protection of Hindus.” The press conference was also attended by H. H. Shivanand Shivacharya Swamiji of Kedar Peeth, Ananda Karalingavar, Raviraj, Seema Hanamannavar, etc.

Huge march to District Collector’s office condemning the murder !
Protest march taken out to District Collector’s office by VHP and Bajrang Dal
HP and Bajrang Dal took out a huge protest march from Kittur Chennamma Chowk to District Collector’s office to condemn the murder of 108 Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj. It was demanded to take stringent action against the culprits. A memorandum was submitted to the Government on the occasion stating that organisations with a jihadi attitude could be responsible for the murder of 108 Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj of Jain Ashram at Chikodi Nandi Parvat in Chikodi taluka. The Government should take serious note of the same and the guilty should be severely punished.
H. H. Gurusiddha Swamiji of Karanji Muth; Shri Hariguru Maharaj of Shri Rudra Kesari Muth of Ganeshpur; Gangadhar Swamiji from Sri Kshetra Gonikoppal; Shrikant Kadam, District President of VHP; its regional Treasurer Krushna Bhatt, District Vice President Pramodkumar Vakumamadamath; Mr Umesh Chindak, advocate Raviraj Patil; Vinod Dodanwar; Pravin Khodi and Seema Hanamannavar also attended the programme, along with many Jains and Hindus.
