No one should think that they can wipe out Christianity from India : Archbishop Cleemis

An uncalled for statement about the Manipur Violence by  Archbishop of Kerala Cleemis

Archbishop is a senior position in the Christian clerical hierarchy

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Kerala Catholic Bishop Council (KCBC) president Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis needlessly slammed the Centre by saying, “No one should think that they can wipe out Christianity from India.” He was speaking at rally of a Kerala Congress MLA’s objecting and denouncing the Manipur Violence.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi should break the silence. He should share the integrity of this country with the world. This is the best opportunity for him to send out a message to the world that democracy prevails in India. Secularism written in our constitution is not a decorative term but an enacted philosophy. Why is our great constitution that grants the right to follow and practice any religion, being hidden? The centre should break silence and intervene in restoring peace in Manipur,” said Archbishop Cleemis.

Editorial Viewpoint

Please take note that when no one is speaking of finishing off the Christianity from India making such a statement and accusing Hindus in this manner is a plan by the priests to accuse the Hindus of being like the Taliban.  Actually in Manipur the Christian Kukis are trying to eliminate the Hindu Meiteis people.
