Ruling party leaders support unauthorised construction – accusation by Petitioner
Mupparaju Pradeep and four others had filed a petition in the High Court against the unauthorised construction on the Government’s reserve land as per the recording of the Revenue Department. It was also stated in the petition that the ruling party leaders were supporting the unauthorised construction. High Court issued notices to the respondents in the case for stopping the work, after the hearing.
Editorial Viewpoint
Why was the Administration turning a blind eye when the unauthorised construction was carried on ? Why does the Court have to issue notice to the Administration ? Why didn’t the Administration take action on its own ? The concerned officers should be put behind bars for such irresponsible behaviour. |
