Fourteen arrested for disrespecting the National Anthem in Jammu–Kashmir

Srinagar (Jammu–Kashmir) – National Anthem was played in a programme on 25th June in the presence of Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of the State. At that time, some did not stand up to pay respect to the playing of the National Anthem. 14 people have been arrested after an investigation. Some Police also are being suspended for not remaining alert to see that all were standing when the National Anthem was being played.
