Shocking cases of domestic violence exposed in China

Hong Kong – China always claims to be an advocate of equality and women’s rights. But now it has come to light how hollow these claims are ! Domestic violence is on the rise in China. People witness horrifying cases every day. Women are murdered in broad daylight. Young girls are warned through social media against getting married and bearing children for remaining safe. Some expressed that every person is scared of marriage. A video has gone viral on 26th June 2023, in the video, a man is repeatedly driving a car over a woman – later identified by Police as his wife. On multiple occasions, the man exits his car to check whether the woman is still alive, before continuing to crush her till her death. Last month, a man in the southern province of Guangdong stabbed his wife and sister-in-law to death.
