Ponda (Goa) – I was staying in France in 2004. A minor incident that happened at that time, led to the burning of almost 10,000 vehicles by North African Muslims and Arabs. The criminal mentality amongst European Muslims is ten times higher than their population in Europe. The dealers of narcotics in France are either Arabs or Pakistani people. Mostly fanatic Muslims are involved not only in petty crimes like theft but also in major crimes like robberies, stated Arif Aajakia, a renowned Islamic Scholar, in London. Thousands of fanatic Muslims are on a rampage in the violence that has broken out in France, following the killing of a young man of Arabian origin. A representative of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ contacted Mr Aajakia in this context, for his opinion on this issue.

Mr Aajakia said further –
a. Most of the Muslims staying in Europe are from North African countries such as Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco. All these countries have dictatorial Governments or radical Islamic rule.
b. Compared to Police in other countries, European Police are less strict; therefore, the violence in France is condemnable. The local Muslims need to note that France has given them a lot. The freedom, which they didn’t have in their countries, is given to them by France.
c. There will soon be internal strife in Europe. France has taken a few good steps to avoid the same. President Emmanuel Macron passed a few stringent laws after Samuel Patty, a teacher, was beheaded in October 2020.
d. Madarasas across the world are the root cause of bloodshed. The first thing taught to the children in a madarasa is that they are lucky to be born Muslims; therefore, they will go to heaven. Non-Muslims will go to hell. From here, Muslim children develop a feeling of superiority and start looking down upon others. Religion should be limited to the home. Not only in India or Europe, but the whole world should ban education imparted in madarasas. All madarasas should be closed down. Muslims need to be brought into the mainstream and imparted modern education. Only those, who want to become ‘maulavi’ should be sent to madarasa. There is no need to send every Muslim to madarasa.
e. A law was passed in France in 2004 under which the display of religious symbols was prohibited in schools. I asked its reason to a French MP, who said, “We want to build up our nation, which can take place only through a uniform education system. We don’t want to divide France !”
Freedom of expression in Europe and the US is debatable !On the incident of burning a copy of Quran in Sweden, Aajakia said, “It is not the right thing to do. Burning ‘Quran’ will not help in any way. It is an attempt to unnecessarily provoke or hurt 1.5 billion Muslims across the world. It was done by a refugee from Iraq. Nobody dares to say anything about the Jews’ holocaust in Europe or the monarchy in the United Kingdom. In a recent visit of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the USA, a Muslim reporter of ‘The Wall Street Journal’ asked him about the so-called injustice to Muslims in India. In fact, this periodical is associated with economic matters; so, PM Modi should have been asked questions about economy. There is a big talk about freedom of expression in the USA, but it puts Julian Assange, the Chief of ‘Wikileaks’ behind bars for exposing many Governments. The freedom of expression in Europe and the US is, therefore, a debatable matter.” |
