Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) –  A 20-year-old Hindu girl from Damoh has accused Omar Farooq of Bengaluru of rape. Madhya Pradesh Police have registered a case. The girl has said that while she was working in Bengaluru 32-year-old Farooq posed as a Hindu named Rajeev. He established intimate relations with her, with the promise of marriage. When she became aware of the truth, he threatened me of publishing her nude pictures and videos on social media. He began beating her up‘. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra says that this is a matter of ‘Love Jihad’ and accused the ruling Congress Government in Karnataka. Mishra said, will Priyanka Gandhi who says, ‘I am a girl, and I can fight’ help in the arrest of Omar Farooq ? While speaking to the Press on 23rd of May in Bhopal the Minister said, “Jihadis will be Taught a lesson”.
