A religious fanatic arrested for an offensive status about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on social media

Akola (Maharashtra) – In Babhulgaon, a religious fanatic Ashim Khan Pathan (25-year-old), who posted offensive WhatsApp ‘status’ about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was arrested by the Police. Shiv Sena local officials and the villagers took objection to the status and asked the young man to approach the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and seek for forgiveness. As the youths of the village gathered together, the fanatic was hiding in fear but he was not ready to apologise. (Arrogant religious fanatics ! Since the Police have not taken strong action against such fanatics so far, they are insulting the national Hero’s – Editor) Realising that the situation could get out of control, the Shiv Sena local officials informed the Police. The Police immediately increased the Police presence in the village.
