Donate on the occasion of Gurupournima for the mission of reinstating Dharma, and benefit a thousand times more from the Guru Principle
This year, Gurupournima will be celebrated on the 3rd of July. It is an auspicious day when the disciple expresses his gratitude to his Guru. For a disciple, Gurupournima is the most important day of the year. This day is special for disciples, seekers and spiritually curious individuals, as the Guru’s grace and the subtle rays of Divine knowledge emanating from the Guru are a thousand times more active when compared to other days of the year. Hence, anyone who serves the Guru or donates wealth for the Guru’s mission by sacrificing his body, mind, intellect and wealth for Gurupournima, benefits a thousand times more from the Guru Principle.
1. The significance of the Guru in a Disciple’s life
Guru is the physical manifestation of the non-materialised God Principle; He is the flag bearer for its Divine mission on Earth. Guru imparts Divine knowledge to His disciple and strives to help him to evolve spiritually. A disciple without a Guru is like a fish out of water. Hence, the Guru is an indispensable medium for the disciple to attain Moksha (Final Liberation). The real Guru-Dakshina (an offering unto the Guru) would be to offer everything, one’s body, mind, intellect, and wealth unto His Holy feet, and strive to serve Him day and night. As a result of this selfless service and devotion, the Guru takes the disciple under His wings. Thus, the real journey towards Moksha begins.
2. Donate wealth and participate in the Guru’s mission to reinstate Dharma on the occasion of Gurupournima
Gurupournima presents a unique opportunity to sacrifice one’s body, mind, and wealth to the best of our ability and express gratitude unto the Guru. We encourage the spiritually curious and our well-wishers to donate for the mission of reinstating Dharma and get spiritually benefited from the Guru Principle.
Today, Dharma is on the decline. Participating in the mission to reinstate Dharma has become the best and most appropriate sadhana (spiritual practice). Therefore, it is essential to contribute financially to Saints and spiritual organisations engaged in this mission. Sanatan Sanstha has been working relentlessly and selflessly for the past two decades to augment the spiritual awareness of society and reinstate Dharma. Hence, the donors may rest assured that their contributions would be sensibly utilised towards reinstating Dharma.
