Muslims under-represented in Indian civil services : ‘The Siasat Daily’ news website
|
New Delhi – An Indian news site ‘The Siasat Daily’ has published that the representation of Muslims in the Indian administrative services is low and has put this blame on the Indian Government and system. The news published by the website said that just as in the last 5 years, there are only 6 Muslims selected in the Indian Administrative Service in 2022. The website claims that in previous years too, only 1 to 5% of the total candidates were Muslims who became administrative officers.
The news hints that the Indian Government is doing injustice to Muslims. Fraudulent figures are published in this news, which claims the population of Muslims was 17.2% in 2011 while the actual number is 14.2%.
