India is a Hindu Rashtra; just that declaration has to be done : Pt Dhirendra Krishna Shastri

Patna (Bihar) – A Mahatma came to meet me. He said you talk about Hindu Rashtra, but will India ever be a Hindu Rashtra ? I smiled and told him that Hindu Rashtra was already there. It just needs to be declared so, stated Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham during the programme of ‘Hanuman-katha’. He also clarified that he never differentiates between Hindu and Muslim; he talks only about Hindus. Before his Bihar visit, Tej Pratap Yadav, a minister of Bihar and son of Laloo Prasad Yadav had warned Shastriji that he would not be allowed to step into Bihar if he started discriminating between Hindus and Muslims. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri made the above statement in this context.

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is presently on a 5-day Bihar visit

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that the holy stream of ‘Ram-naam’ flows continuously in Bihar, and it will continue to flow even in the future. Presently, there is a wave of Shri Hanuman rising all over Bihar. This is the land of Mother Janaki. The ‘zero’ was invented here. We should try to find the treasure trove of devotion, but we keep searching for money. If one tries to find devotion, then will get everything automatically.

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri clarified while talking to reporters that he was not a political leader.

The Union Minister Giriraj Singh attended ‘Hanuman-katha’ programme and paid obeisance to Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Panditji asked if Bihar Government’s permission was required for propagating Sanatan Dharma.

India is neither an Islamic nor a Hindu nation ! – Ruling Janata Dal (United)

While  criticising Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s assertion about Hindu Rashtra, the Spokesperson of the ruling Janata Dal (United) said that the country is governed according to the Constitution written by Babasaheb Ambedkar wherein people of all castes and religions have been given equal rights. An Indian having faith in any religion can work for the propagation of his religion. This is not a Hindu or an Islamic country. India has given the message of secularism to the world; therefore, it didn’t matter what an individual says.

Editorial Viewpoint

If India does not become a Hindu Rashtra, it will become an Islamic nation in a few years, which is now obvious to all. It is evident from the statement of Janata Dal (United) party’s statement that the Hindus only would be responsible for preventing India from becoming a Hindu Rashtra and becoming an Islamic nation !
