Objective History of the Ideological Destruction of India
In the decade of 1970, Yuri Bezmenov, who was doing propaganda for the Soviet Union, defected to the United States. The secret agency of the Soviet Union, the KGB, used very frightening methods to spread the Communist ideology throughout the world. Bezmenov revealed all their secrets to the world. The name of that process was, ‘Ideological Subversion !’ However, many empires of the world have been using this technique for thousands of years. The British Empire was one of them.
The British were far smarter than the Islamic bandits. They ruled India for 200 years by making Indians their agents. The intentions of bandits are obvious; but who were these Indians who cooperated with the British ? Also, why did they do it ? When there was so much knowledge and glory in India, which is called ‘Sone ki Chidiya (The golden bird)’, how did we suddenly become so weak ? We were defeated not by others, but by our own people. This is not the story we have all been told. This is the story of the real history of India, the ideological subversion of India ! A video highlighting this issue has been aired on the National YouTube channel ‘Prachyam’. In this article, we provide the insightful and awareness-raising information of this video, which has been viewed by 1.5 million people so far. |
1. After Independence, the British did not leave India, but stayed here as ‘Brown Sahebs’
India got Independence in 1947. Was that dark night spanning 200 years really over ? The British were sailing towards England in big ships. Our faces were a sight to behold. Indians were thinking, ‘Tomorrow will be that dawn, for which millions have fought. Now all revolutionary and nationalist Indians will be invited to Delhi. Together, all will write a great story of India. Our country is now Independent. What is there to worry about now ?’; but that invitation never came. It is not known what contracts were signed behind closed doors, but then, one day there was chaos all of a sudden. It was announced that in 10 weeks’ time this country will be divided between Hindus and Muslims. We thought that the white Sahebs would leave in 1947; but we were wrong. There were some Sahebs who never left.
2. Indians suffered hundreds of years of oppression under the slavery of Islamic invaders
The story dates back a thousand years. At that time, India was fighting the Islamic bandits. Money was being stolen from the people; but it required a lot of effort. The robbers were a handful; but who will take care of crores of ignorant people ? How many heads could be severed in the end ?
Afghanis such as Sher Shah raised an army of Sardars (Warlords) by taking locals. Each warlord had hundreds of soldiers under him. During Akbar’s time, such soldiers were estimated at 44 lakh. Their job was to perpetuate fear of the Government in the minds of the poor. There used to be a Daroga Saheb (Chief officer) in this army. The poor masses would tremble just hearing the news of their likely arrival.
In this regard, the famous historian Neeraj Atri says, “Now where did the word saheb come from ? The people who were with Prophet Muhammad, meaning, those who saw the Prophet alive, were called saheb. They were considered to be great men. This terminology is still in use today !
There were now 3 options before the people. Either ‘convert or compromise’, ‘Become a Jimmy’ (Note) or ‘get the heads severed’. Most people opted to become Jimmy. (Note : Jimmy means a protected individual who remains loyal to the State by paying the Jizya tax in order to remain under Islamic rule without abandoning his religion.)
If you become a Jimmy, you can still manage to survive even after suffering humiliation. Let’s be a little subdued, let’s pay the Jizya tax; but at least life will be saved. After bearing this burden for hundreds of years, the fear of sahebs remained in our hearts forever. As other worlds advanced rapidly, the confidence of our civilization crumbled. The vast empire of Ramrajya was now only a memory in the minds of the people. All that was left was to see which bandits are leaving and which are arriving.
3. British took advantage of the people who were suffering due to Muslim rule
In 1757, the East India Company easily conquered Bengal. India had numerous kingdoms with wealth running into billions. Controlling a population hundreds of times larger than theirs was a real challenge for the British. It was a time when the Indians were scared and were looking for jobs under the slavery of the Islamic period.
Bezmenov says about ‘Ideological Subversion’ – Not fighting a war at all is the best kind of war ! This involves forgetting valuable things in the enemy country.
India’s social system, education, Dharma were the hallmarks of our civilization; but like in every society, hundreds of years of poverty and starvation had created some problems. The eyes of the British twinkled upon realising these problems.
“The Soviets used the term ideological subversion”, says Bezmenov. It means changing the perspective of reality, so much so that no one can reach logical conclusions despite having a lot of knowledge. This is a major brain washing process, which is essentially divided into 4 stages :
Stage 1 – Anti-ethical task meaning demoralization
This stage includes destroying Dharma (Sanatan Hindu Dharma), making fun of it, establishing different sects (mostly inappropriate, meaning, anti-Dharma) and practices so as to misguide the society from the highest purpose of Dharma, which is God-realization.
4. The British translated incorrectly and published mystical Hindu Scriptures using modern technology
The most deeply-rooted sanskar (Subtle impression) on Indians was that of Hindu Dharma. Company officials recognised this, and found crimes and local vices accepted throughout India and exhibited them collectively as Hindu vices. Neeraj Atri gives a scholarly reference in this regard and says, “The oldest historical document we get is a book called ‘Indica’ written by Magasthenes 2,300 years ago. It says, ‘Here the society is divided into categories. The most ideal are the Brahmans. He calls them sophists; but in this he clearly mentions – anyone can become a Brahman in this society; because the life of a Brahman is the most difficult !’
The Hindus who were enemies of the Islamic power became victims of the Christian British. Hundreds of books were written. These people are called ‘Indology experts’ (a term used in the Western world for the so-called scholars of India) as ‘Hindu atrocities literature’. Terms such as ‘Sati’, ‘Devdasi’, ‘Bhondu Guru’ and ‘Brahman patriarchy’ were the product of this project”.
Author Omendra Ratnu, who fights for Pakistani Hindus, says, “I need not tell you about the status of women in Islam and Christianity. Ours was a female dominated society. The contribution of Brahmans is the identity of this country. This Hindu society cannot be complete without the wisdom and vibrancy of Vedic culture in this country. Brahman society was like the brain of Hindutva. The Left corrupted this brain and we let it happen. Look at the knowledge in the Upanishads and Shrimadbhagawadgeeta. Brahmans preserved the knowledge base of Puranas, Ramayan, Mahabharat through the medium of Shrutis. Aurangzeb would eliminate a janeu a day. If Brahmans of this country had converted, would Hindu Dharma have survived ? Who could the Rajputs have fought for ?
Latin and English speakers mistranslated the mystical Hindu texts. The Company bosses literally tinkered with Indian civilization like a toy and tore it apart. They pretended to understand Indian culture and civilization. After this, using modern technology they printed a large number of texts, and through this medium, they started a huge propaganda of spreading an illusion about Hindu Dharma.
Bezmenov continues, “Turn the public’s attention away from true religious organisations and towards fake organisations !”
5. British used Raja Ram Mohan Roy
Rajeev Malhotra, an American Hindu scholar and famous author, says, “It all started with Raja Ram Mohan Roy, who is considered the father of New Hindutva. Raja Ram Mohan Roy was working for the East India Company in Calcutta. The East India Company got many enthusiastic Brown sahebs like Raja Ram Mohan Roy for the project of subverting India. The British used them with the lure of honour and prestige. After the death of Raja Ram Mohan Roy in 1833, he was given a Christian burial in England. He propagated the original culture of India in a completely inappropriate manner. The British had met an honest brown gentleman in the form of Roy”.
Bezmenov continues, “In every society there are some people who are against the society. When all such forces come together, one has to use that moment to keep the movement going until the entire society is destroyed”.
6. The British ended the ideal system of Varna (Class) and imposed the caste system on India
The Varna and caste system that existed for thousands of years in India became the next target. When the British came to India, 400 out of 500 institutions belonged to Shudra kings.
To subvert these, distinctions had to be widened. Whites transformed the Varna and caste system into various castes; but ‘caste’ was essentially a Portuguese or Spanish concept. It had nothing to do with this country.
Atri says in this regard, “If we study the census of 1871, it can be seen that the Census Commissioner was ordered to write all the people in the same category of caste. The actual enumerator used to report to his superiors to the contrary, that the people here are not ready to accept these castes; but according to the orders from higher ups, Varna, caste, clan tradition were all lumped under the single word – ‘caste’.
Today we have become slaves of this aspect. We are told that India is basically a society with a prevalent caste system, and the associated inferiority complex has developed in us !”
The policy of ‘Divide et Impera’ (Divide and rule) of the Romans was well used in India by the British. The British held the Brahmans and Kshatriyas responsible for the problems prevalent then and termed them oppressive Aryan invaders. In fact, the root cause of these problems was the plunder by the East India Company and the abusive traditions of the Islamic period. As the British widened the differences in society, they forced the Muslims to slaughter cows more vigorously. The Criminal Gangs Act of 1871 declared many castes as born criminals. Such policies and rapidly diminishing resources led to the collapse of India’s ancient social fabric.
Bezmenov says, “Education : Discourage society from constructive, experimental and functional learning. Break the natural ties between individuals, groups, societies and let artificial and Governmental institutions replace them”.
7. William Bentinck’s attack on the Indian Guru-Shishya tradition through introduction of the Education Act
In 1835, William Bentinck implemented the English Education Act, which marked the end of the Indian teacher-disciple tradition. Macaulay now wanted Indians to study in the slums of Yorkshire. Instead of teaching martial arts in the field, it was much more desirable to leave them frustrated in the classroom. From where will the society that has gone through looting, give money to traditional schools ? One-by-one, schools and gurukuls started closing down. Hence, without education, the population now remained a mass of uneducated labourers and farmers. We were termed ‘White Man’s Burden’.
English missionaries used to take poor Indian children from homes, place them in convents and give them English education. The children who came out of the convents with such education started feeling alienated from their own parents and society. The children of a country that had been looted by the whole of Europe were told that their culture was backward and the methods of the invading marauders were modern. In this manner, the gullible people of India were corrupted at every level of religion, caste, society and education. This is what led to the active demoralisation of the Indian society.
The second stage : Destabilisation means creating instability
Bezmenov says, “The Government instated the school dropouts or those who had seemingly limited intellectual abilities in the power centres of Government, administration, commerce, journalism, educational institutions. You can’t avoid them. They are programmed to react in a predetermined manner to any event”.
8. Indians who returned to India after studying abroad accepted the slavery of the British for honour
Children from well-to-do families started going abroad for education. They would return as a barrister or a gazetted officer. These foreign returned Brown officers had absolutely no sympathy for the local poor. All their efforts were directed at pleasing their masters and how to continue their influence. You could not convince such people even by telling them the truth as real as sunlight, because their perspective was moulded thus (anti-Hindu). The British rule was happy.
Most of the princely States were relaxed and happy under their protection, but the happiest of all was the Brown saheb, as he was entrusted with the responsibility of ruling the ‘Black dogs’ (Indians). Those who proved themselves received lands as well as honour. Some got the title of ‘Rai Bahadur’, some got the title ‘Khan Bahadur’, while some even received Knighthood.
Who was going to listen to the voice of the angry people in the villages ? Two ideologies – India and Bharat – came into existence for good.
9. The British found support in the Brown sahebs who were confidantes of the British monarchy and it is through them that the safety net called Congress was established
It was during this century that India’s class lines were drawn forever. Now even the general public had given up hope. It never looked like the sun of the British Empire would ever set. Until 1947, the main pillar of British rule was the ‘Imperial Legislative Council’. Indians were elected as non-official members on this Council. Eminent Brown sahebs of the country, landlords, princes, advocates, magistrates and merchants used to form part of it. It is obvious that the British rule had full faith in the sincerity of this coterie.
Bezmenov says in this regard, “We think that the subverter will be someone who will destroy all our (Hindus’) dreams in one fell swoop. But it is not so ! These are the students who are involved in give-and-take. They are a diplomat, an actor, an artist – all at the same time”.
Famous author and researcher Sandeep Balkrishna says, “An individual close to you, who has studied the oppressors against you (Indians) has become an important pawn for those oppressors. Being part of your native culture, the individual can play the role of a pawn. Therefore, this individual (The Brown saheb) can easily do the work that no foreigner can do”.
The shrewd British already knew that their rule in India will not last an eternity. Seeing the growing autocracy in the administration and to save the British rule, Alan Octavian Hume founded the Congress in the year 1885. Hume’s intention was to prevent a repeat of the situation of 1857 by creating smaller insignificant facilities. Who then became the first member of this Safety Net (An organisation made for the protection of the royal power) ? They were the Brown sahebs of the Imperial Council !
Hume’s fears were not unfounded. Due to the oppression of the British, voices were now raised from India. In 1876, Hindavi Swarajya of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj came out in the form of a slogan of ‘Swaraj’ from the pen of Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
‘Swaraj’ – for India and Indians !
10. The Brown sahebs, British well-wishers, jumped into the freedom movement as freedom fighters !
Bezmenov continues, “You will need another 20 or 15 years, during which time a generation, the next generation of Brown sahebs who are (supposedly) patriotic and have common-sense, will be developed. This generation will act in favour of society (meaning, pretend to show that)”.
The fire of rebellion was spreading throughout the country from within. Philosophers such as Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Arvind Ghosh, Bipinchandra Pal emerged. New generations were being awakened against demoralisation by reading the indigenous discoveries of Nationalist scholars. The future great revolutionaries grew up in this ideological environment. Realising the direction of the times, the gentlemen of the Imperial Council now started trying to increase the membership of the Congress. The Brown sahebs promoted themselves by declaring that they have sacrificed luxurious bungalows and land-lordships and, became kurta-pyjama clad freedom fighters.
Bezmenov says, “At this stage the students (Pawns of Subversion) were sent back from Britain. Some of them were already in India. They suddenly came into the limelight. These people, who were inactive, became functional”.
A terrible storm was brewing. White bosses of the Imperial Council mingled with the patriotic revolutionaries in the freedom struggle. This was good news for the British too.
Bezmenov elaborates on this turning point – “They were dormant (inactive) for 15-20 years. Now they became leaders of various groups, social figures and propagators. They became an active part of the political process”.
11. Anti-Indian Motilal Nehru was highly Anglicised
At the forefront of this was the very rich and influential Nehru family of Allahabad and its patron Motilal Nehru. The Nehru family was so Anglicised that the English culture was literally in their blood. Be it the treatment received as a highly respected individual in the 1911 Legislative Council in Delhi or the feasts of Civil Lines. Through this, the British never allowed Motilal to realise his Brownness. Motilal Nehru is mentioned in history books and films as a great freedom fighter; but what kind of freedom was he fighting for, that made him so close to the British ?
Famous barrister Motilal might have fought the case of an odd revolutionary. In the Kakori conspiracy, Motilal’s own relative and friend Jagat Narayan Mulla was the public prosecutor against Ramprasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan, who were awarded the death sentence. Motilal was more concerned about his son Jawaharlal Nehru’s future. He became a kingmaker of the Congress with great shrewdness even before his son finished his education.
