Legal notice from ‘Asaram Bapu Trust’ issued to the producers of movie ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’
Claims of insult of Pujyapad Santshri Asaram Bapu in the movie
New Delhi – After the trailer of actor Manoj Vajpayee’s upcoming movie ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’ was released on 8th May, the Asaram Bapu Trust sent a legal notice to the producer of the movie. The Trust has filed a petition in the Court and demanded to stop the screening of the movie. The Trust has claimed that ‘Asaram Bapu’s reputation has been damaged in this movie.
In this film, a Baba rapes a 16-year-old girl. The Baba’s attire in the movie is similar to Pujyapad Santshri Asaram Bapu. Hence, it can be deduced that this movie is related to Him.

Asif Shaikh, the producer of this film has said, ‘We have made the movie based on Advocate P.C. Solanki’s life and we have procured all the necessary rights from them. We have received the legal notice from the Trust and our lawyer is looking into it and will respond to the notice. P.C. Solanki was the plaintiff’s counsel in the case against Pujyapad Santshri Asaram Bapu.
