Comprehensive meaning of the word Hindu

The origin of the word Hindu is in Sanskrut adage ‘हीनान् गुणान् दूषयति इति हिंदुः ।’ (Hinaan Gunaan Dushyati Iti Hinduh) meaning, ‘He, who overcomes the inferior Raja-Tama components is a Hindu. How many devout Hindu organisations teach this to their activists ?
