Will build temple of Deity Shankar if encroachment near Mama-Bhanja Dargah in Thane not removed : MNVS

Thane (Maharashtra) – “There has been a massive encroachment near the Mama-Bhanja Dargah in Yeur, a tourist hotspot. This has become a threat to the Indian Air Force base at Kanheri Hill, which is a stone’s throw away from there. Security of the country is more important than unauthorised places of worship. Therefore, the administration should immediately remove this encroachment, otherwise a temple of Bhagwan Shankar will be built next to the dargah”, warned Sandeep Pachange, State General Secretary of Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena, through a memorandum to the director of Sanjay Gandhi National Park and forest ranger.
The Memorandum states
Many complaints have been made by the locals to MNVS that illegal constructions have been done near the Mama-Bhanja Dargah.
While planting of trees is prohibited within 100 meters of the Air Force station, such unauthorised constructions are going on indiscriminately. Therefore, Indian Air Force officials corresponded with administration and demanded that the Forest Department and the District Administration should immediately remove the illegal constructions here. However, the administration delayed the action by giving the reason of Ramzan. (Administration which surrenders to encroachers ! – Editor)
As a result of this, MNS has given above warning and submitted a memorandum directly to the Forest Department demanding the immediate removal of the unauthorised construction near the Dargah.
