Bidar (Karnataka) – The sitting Congress MLA Rahim Khan and candidate while canvassing in his constituency for the Karnataka Assembly election appealed to the Muslims that there was a great conspiracy against him. Hence, “you my Muslim brethren do not let go of my hand. If I do not come to your streets and lanes, please keep in mind, that I have to go to each and every one of their houses as I have to appeal for the votes from people of other communities. Some are trying to take away the votes of people in my community by giving them money and defeating me. In the Vidhan Sabha election of 2018, I won only because of the Muslim votes”.
