Defense of Ukaraine’s official Twitter handle had earlier tweeted a vulgar depiction of Goddess Kali with the caption ‘work of art’. The left hand side of the picture showed a city attacked with bomb and clouds of smoke forming in the sky. The right hand side showed Goddess Kali in the form of Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe with her ‘flying skirt’ as clouds of smoke. The depiction enraged the Hindus. Bala, a tweeter user, tagged Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar and MEA’s Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi and tweeted, ‘Please take note of this defamatory post that shows Maa Kali in a bad light. Keep this in mind the next time Ukraine begs for help and support in the UN’.
Editorial Viewpoint
This is the true face of Ukraine which keeps showing its animosity towards India. Ukraine is faking an apology, as it is already in a crisis due to war with Russia. |
