Trailer of the Hindi film ‘The Kerala Story’ depicting horror of ‘Love Jihad’ released

A story of 22,000 Hindu and Christian girls in Kerala being tricked into Love Jihad and recruited in terror organisation 

New Delhi – The trailer of the upcoming Hindi film ‘The Kerala Story’ has been released. The film portrays the reality of 22,000 Hindu and Christian girls who were deceived by ‘Love Jihad’ and taken to the Islamic countries of Syria and Afghanistan for terrorist activities. The film is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah. The film will be released on the 5th of May. It is said that the story is based on a true incident.

In this trailer, Shalini Unnikrishnan is lured by a Muslim student in the college and starts wearing hijab. Later she is converted to Islam. Then she is named Fatima. Then she had to marry to a Muslim youth. After this, she is taken to an Islamic country and recruited into the Islamic State. Throughout  all these events, she is unaware of the fact. It is said that the story is not only of Shalini alone but also of 22,000 Hindu and Christian girls in Kerala. In the trailer, when Shalini is asked the question, ‘When did you join the Islamic State ?’, she replies, ‘It is more important to understand the why and how ?’ After that, the conspiracy of ‘fanatic Muslims’  to drag Hindu and Christian girls into their love-net, has been shown. Along with this, the Chief Minister of Kerala at that time, V.S. Achuthanand has also been heard saying that ‘Kerala will become an Islamic State within next 20 years’.
