Keep an eye on where the taxpayers money is being spent by the ruling political parties
PM Modi’s Appeal to IAS Officers
New Delhi – Keep an eye on ruling political parties. Check where they are spending taxpayers’ money, is it for their own party or for the welfare of the country ? You have to do this. We have to accomplish what Sardar Patel used to call the administration the ‘Steel Frame of India’. If the administration makes a mistake, it will be like looting the country’s money, stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While addressing the officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in a programme held at ‘Vigyan Bhavan’ on the occasion of the 16th ‘Civil Services Day’.
On Civil Services Day, greetings to the civil servants, who are serving the nation with utmost diligence.

PM Modi said,
1. The country has given you a big opportunity by showing faith in you. Work to satisfy this faith. The focal point of your decisions should be the welfare of the country.
2. Today, the challenge is not how competent you are, but deciding ways to get over the deficiencies.
3. The greatness of our schemes will not have any value if they just look good on paper, but their benefits don’t reach the last person in this country. If this does not happen then we will not see the expected results.
4. The officers who joined this service 25 years ago, contributed to taking this country to the golden era of Independence. Now, it will be the contribution of the youth who will remain in this service for the next 25 years.
Minority Ministry was giving the benefit of scholarships to fake youth !
PM Modi said that more than 4 crore of fake gas connections and ration cards were issued in the country. Minority Ministry was giving scholarships to more than 30 lakh fake youth. Today, we have changed this system through everyone’s efforts. Rs 3 lakh crore have been saved from going into the wrong hands. This money is now being used to improve the lives of poor citizens of the country.
