Although General Secretary of ‘Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee’ Gurcharan Singh Grewal has apologised for this incident, he has also backed the concerned guard. He said that since the flag painted on the face of the woman did not have ‘Ashoka Chakra’, it could not be the national flag. It can also be the flag of Congress or any other political party.

A controversy has started on Twitter over this incident. Spokesperson of ISKCON Radharamn Das has tweeted that the relevant Khalistani in this case should be immediately arrested. Just ignoring this incident is not the solution rather it will only increase the ego of these people.
However, some people have opposed and questioned the woman, is Tricolor something to be painted on the face ?
