English and other foreign languages are to be banned soon in Italy as conversational languages

Rome (Italy) – The Italian Government will soon ban the usage of the English language in the country. If anyone communicates or uses English or other foreign languages, then they will have to pay a fine. This particular story was broadcasted on CNN.
1. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s ‘Brothers of Italy’ party has presented a new bill in Parliament. As per this bill using English and other foreign languages for conversations are to be banned. Failure of which will result in a fine of 1 lakh Euros (roughly Rs 89 lakh) will be levied.

2. Italian leader Fabio Rampelli said that the use of foreign languages devalues the Italian language. This bill has been introduced at a stage where Britain is no longer a part of the European Union.
