Charges framed against 9 fanatic Muslims in Jamia Milia University violence case

New Delhi – The Delhi High Court has framed charges against the student activists, dismissing Session Court’s decision in the matter of violence outside Jamia Milia Islamia University in the year 2019. The High Court has framed the charges against 9 out of 11 accused. The High Court pointed out that in the video one can see clearly, the people in the first row of the crowd are shouting slogans against the Delhi Police and trying to push away the barricades, considering this fact, 9 people have been now identified as accused along with Sharjeel Imam, Safoora Zargar and Asif Iqbal. Justice Swarnakanta Sharma, while giving the decision, said that the right to peacefully assemble people does not allow violence or giving speeches to incite violence !

What is the matter ?
In the year 2019, many fanatic Muslims gathered and carried out violence outside Jamia Milia Islamia University and tried to enter into the campus forcefully. They were protesting against the Survey Bill and the National Population Register Act. At that time, 12 people were arrested.
