Mangaluru : SDPI demands banning of ‘Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Mangaluru (Karnataka) – Mr Guruprasad Gowda (State Convenor of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti [HJS]) said in a press conference that – ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will hold an awareness meeting demanding the creation of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ at Kadri grounds on 12th March 2023. There is no separate Ministry or Commission to protect the majority Hindus in India. Only Hindu temples are brought under Government control, but churches and mosques are not under the Government. The minorities receive funds based on their religion. HJS is organising an awareness programme to enlighten the Hindu brethren’.
Mr Guruprasad Gowda said, “We have been conducting awareness programmes for Hindus for the past 15 years. We have organised more than 2,000 such programmes with due permissions”.
SDPI leaders meet Police Commissioner to oppose the ‘Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha’
Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leaders met City Police Commissioner seeking strict action against HJS over its planned ‘Hindu Rashtra’ aware-ness meeting. SDPI leaders stated that HJS has been putting up posters in public places and on vehicles and has also released videos about the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ awareness meeting.
SDPI leaders said that this act is anti-National. “According to the Constitution, India is a secular and democratic country. Identifying the country based on religion is illegal and is an act of sedition. Hence, the Police should take the developments in this regard very seriously and not allow such meetings to take place. Also, action should be initiated against HJS for putting up posters in public spaces, thus creating panic in society. The organisation must be banned”, they said. HJS said that it had submitted a memorandum to the City Police Commissioner. Mr Dinesh Jain (of HJS) said, “SDPI leaders have been issuing threats. We urge the Government to ban SDPI which is another face of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI)”. (Does SDPI ever open its mouth against those who are trying to make India an Islamic Nation ? Patriots are wondering – how is the political wing of a Jihadi organisation, which is banned in our country, still functioning.
