Member of Parliament Imtiaz Jaleel will start a chain-fasting !
Sambhajinagar – The State and Union Government has decided in favour of changing the name of the ‘Aurangabad’ district to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. But the AIMIM party opposes this decision. Member of Parliament Imtiaz Jaleel has decided to begin a chain-fasting in front of the office of the District Collector from 4th March demanding that the name be changed back to Aurangabad. (What else can be expected from the MP of the anti-Hindu AIMIM party- Editor). The office bearers and workers of AIMIM have joined the fasting and some people have joined the fasting, holding placards of ‘I love Aurangabad’.
Jaleel has accused that the name has been changed for getting political mileage. There is a large Police presence at the fasting site. Imtiaz Jaleel that it could not be said how long this fasting will last. Common residents of Aurangabad have joined in the fasting. They feel that the name ‘Aurangabad should remain Aurangabad’. We are not indulging in any politics. This is my town and my emotions are linked to it. ‘The name of our town cannot be changed by those sitting in Delhi and Mumbai’ is what we want to tell the Administration. This is a democratic country and your dictatorship will not be allowed here. Hence, we do not accept the decision of changing the name. (Jaleel should remember that people want the name of all the cities, towns, and roads named after the Mogul invaders like in Aurangabad changed ! – Editor)
