Jamiat leader Maulana Madani’s claim that ‘Allah and Om are one’ !
All religious leaders leave the stage in protest of Madani’s statement !
New Delhi – A convention of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was held from 10th-12th February at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. Accordingly, Saints of all religions were invited to the ‘Sadbhavana Sammelan’ organised on 12th February. At that time, Jamiat leader Maulana (scholar of Islam) Arshad Madani, while opposing the statement of RSS Chief, made a statement that ‘Allah and Om are one and the same’. Jain Guru Lokesh Muni, who was present on the stage, objected to this. Following that other religious Saints too left the stage along with him. RSS Sarsanghchalak H.H. Mohanji Bhagwat recently made a statement that ‘Hindus and Muslims have the same ancestors’. Madani opposed this statement.
What did Maulana Madani say ?
Maulana Arshad Madani is the uncle of Jamiat chief Mahmood Madani. Maulana Madani said that your ancestors were not Hindus. It was Manu, i.e., Adam. There was no one then. Neither Shriram, Brahma, nor Shiva. Who did Manu worship when there was no one ? This is my question. Some say that ‘he was worshiping Mahadev’, while others claim that Manu worshipped Om. What is Om ? Many said that it is air. It has no form or colour. It is everywhere in the world. This is what we call Allah. You call it God.

Jain Muni Lokesh protested the statement !
While Maulana Madani’s speech was going on, Jain Muni Lokesh strongly objected to his statement. ‘This convention is organised to connect people. Therefore, there is no justification for such a statement’, he said and stepped down from the stage. At the same time, Saints of other religions also left the stage.
Madani further said that Muslims will not tolerate insulting the Prophet. So no one should make a statement against him. Education is currently being saffronised in India. This is not correct. Books of other religions should not be imposed on anyone. This is against the Constitution.
Jamiat President Maulana Mahmood Madani opposed by Sufi Islamic Board !
Sanatan is the original Dharma of India !
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind chief Mahmood Madani had said earlier in the convention that India is the motherland of Islam. The Sufi Islamic Board objected to it. Board’s National Spokesperson Kashish Warsi said that Islam is not the original religion of India. Sanatan is the original Dharma here. As for Mahmood Madani, he is a fatwa factory. Islam was brought by the first-coming Muslims. Hazrat Matlatul Auliya, Makarbur Sharif came. Then Qasim bin Malik from Arabia came to Kerala in India. Then came Khwaja Garib Nawaz of Pakistan, who came here and propagated Islam. Islam spread here because of their character and good behaviour. Today the Government of the country does not consider any Muslim as an ‘outsider’.
