1,000 kg explosives found prior to Prime Minister Modi’s Rajasthan tour

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to go on a tour to District Dausa in Rajasthan on 12th February. Prior to this tour, large amount of explosives have been found. The incident came to the fore as the State Police were reviewing the security preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to Dausa. Dausa Police arrested the accused who was transporting the explosives near Khan Bhankari Road in the District.

The Police have confiscated 65 Detonators, 1,000 kg explosives and 360 Gelatin sticks. The carrier vehicle of these explosives has also being taken into custody. After detaining Rajesh Meena, he was asked to produce the permit to carry the explosives; since Meena failed to answer any of their questions satisfactorily, the Police said that they had to arrest him.
