Regarding this, the Karnataka State Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr. Mohan Gowda said that this construction is in gross violation of Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission Rules 2005. This illegal construction has created a challenge for the Police to maintain law and order in the area. It is quite surprising that despite the complaints of the locals, no action is being taken to stop this illegal construction. Will the authorities ignore the illegal construction of Hindus in the same manner ? Why is the municipality silent about the illegal constructions of other communities ? The municipal authorities should take this issue seriously and take steps to stop the illegal construction of the mosque immediately. Mr. Gowda warned that if the authorities show negligence in their duty, he will go to the High Court.
Mr Mohan Gowda, State Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Mrs Shakila Shetty, Vijaya Vivek Prathisthana, Bengaluru, Mr Premanand, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, Bommanahalli, Mrs Shubha B Naik, Advocate, Karnataka High Court, Adv. Guruprasad, Adv. Gangadhar and members of Forum for Hindu Organisations were part of the delegation.
