Supreme Court issues notice to the Centre
New Delhi – The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the Centre on a petition seeking direction to restrain the Central Government from censoring the BBC documentary relating to the 2002 Gujarat Riots ‘India: The Modi Question’. The apex Court has sought a response from the Centre within three weeks. Senior advocate CU Singh appearing for Trinamool Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Mahua Moitra, senior journalist N Ram, and advocate Prashant Bhushan have filed a petition in the Court against the Central Government. (Please note that such people never raise their voices against the atrocities on Hindus nor do they support Hindus ! – Editor)

Their plea termed the Centre’s decision to block the documentary as “manifestly arbitrary” and “unconstitutional”. This documentary claims the involvement of the then PM and current PM Narendra Modi in the Gujarat riots in 2002 and spreads Hindu hatred.
