Mangaluru blast accused jihadi terrorists had targeted Hindus in past
Mangaluru (Karnataka) – Jihadi terrorist Shariq, arrested in connection with the rickshaw blast, has a history of jihadi activity. On 15th August, he stabbed 2 people during an argument over the installation of a flex board with the photo of Swatantryaveer Savarkar. In addition to Shariq, he was also involved in this attack and was absconding. While the other two were arrested. Shariq had written ‘Don’t force us to call the LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba)’ on a wall in Mangaluru on 27th November 2020, nine years after the 26/11 Jihadi terrorist attack on Mumbai. He had been arrested for this offense.

Rented house by using fake Aadhaar card in the name of Hindu person
According to Karnataka Health Minister Sudhakar, Shariq showed his Aadhaar card to the rickshaw driver when he got into the vehicle. The Aadhaar card belonged to a railway employee who lost it. Shariq made a fake Aadhaar card in his name and used it to rent a house in a Hindu-majority area.
