Amicable relationship between Netanyahu-Modi
Netanyahu came to India 5 years ago when he was the Prime Minister of Israel. At that time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke protocol and went to the airport himself to welcome him. Modi also visited Israel in the same year. Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel. Both have referred to each other as ‘friends’. Now that Netanyahu is Prime Minister, India and Israel will be able to work together on terrorism, technology and trade. It is being said that there may be a free trade agreement between the two countries.
