Assembly elections fixed on 1st and 5th December in Gujarat

New Delhi – The timetable of the Assembly elections of Gujarat has been declared. The election will be in 2 phases. Among the total 182 seats, the election on 1st December would be for 89 seats and 5th December will be for 93 seats. The counting of votes will be on 8th December along with the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. This information was given by Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar in the press conference.

He said further that if any candidate raises a question with regard to Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and if he wins then the questions do not arise. An impartial election is our goal. Our impartiality is known all over. To continue with such tradition is our duty.
