Unilever recalled its products from US market
Danger of cancer due to ‘Dry shampoo’
Washington (US) – Unilever has recalled many of its famous products like ‘Dove’, ‘Aerosol Dry Shampoo’ from the US market. Many of its shampoos have been found containing the dangerous chemical called ‘Benjin’ which is being suspected to cause cancer. ‘Unilever’ has not mentioned the proportion of benjin in its products; but all its products have been recalled. Dry shampoos are like ‘spray’ which cleans the hair without making them wet.

Editorial perspectiveUnilever is an international company. Its products are sold in many countries including India. Hence, it should recall its products from other countries also. Indian Government should take the initiative on its own to ban such products. |
