Strike at the root of the ‘Waqf Board Act’ which is grabbing the land of Hindus : Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain

Special Dialogue on ‘Wakf Board’s Land Jihad’

“The Congress Government had given absolute rights to Muslims through the ‘Waqf Board Act 1995’. Therefore, Muslims have the right to declare any property of not only Muslims, but Hindus, Christians and other sects as the property of the Waqf Board. By misusing this law, ‘Land Jihad’ is being practised by forcefully grabbing land across the country. As a result, more than 8 lakh acres of land across the country, most of which is owned by the Railways and the Defence Forces, has come under the ownership of the Waqf Board. Hindus, Christians or any other sect do not have the power or legal authority that the Congress has given to the Muslims. All Hindus should unite against this discriminatory law”, appealed Supreme Court Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, while participating in a Special Dialogue organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the subject – ‘Wakf Board’s Land Jihad ?’ (Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain is a litigator in atleast 12 cases involving Hindu / Jain Deities, and is advocating the Gyanvapi Issue in the Court.)

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said this tendency should be struck at the roots and the Central Government should be compelled to change this law.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain added, “Due to this Act, the plan is to declare Hindus’ Dwarka Island, Surat Municipal Corporation, Chandrashekhar Azad Park in Prayagraj, Gyanavapi, Mathura, etc. as the property of the Waqf Board”.

Ms Gayatri N (Founder of ‘Bharat Voice’) said, “How can the 2,000 year old Hindu temple of Sri Chandrasekhar Swamy in the Tiruchethurai village in Tamil Nadu become the property of the Wakf Board ? Due to a legislation passed by the Parliament which encourages ‘Land Jihad’, the homes, shops, farms, lands and even temples of Hindus are not safe. Hindus have no rights. The condition of Hindus has become even worse”.

Mr Neeraj Atri (President of ‘Vivekananda Karya Samiti’), said, “The then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that Muslims have the first right over India’s resources. The same ideology is being implemented through this Act. Day-by-day, Hindus are falling deeper into the deception and far-reaching implications of this Act. If Hindus do not unite now, their condition would again become the same as it was during Aurangzeb’s time”.

Mr Narendra Surve (New Delhi Spokesperson of HJS) said, “The Government has taken over the big temples and properties of Hindus. On the other hand, instead of touching the religious places or property of Muslims, this law has been passed to protect them. This is a conspiracy against Hindu Dharma. A parallel system has been created by law for ‘Land Jihad’, land grabbing. This is the weapon given to the Muslims. Hindus should fight for repealing of this law”.
