Issue of a young woman dying after being arrested for not wearing hijab
Tehran (Iran) – Women in Sakez (Iran-W) commenced agitation on 17th September against the Government by removing their hijab. 22-year-old Mahasa Amini died after being arrested by the Police for violating the rules regarding hijab. Women in Iran have become aggressive in protesting against her death.
Videos of this agitation of removing hijab are posted extensively on social media. Hijab is mandatory in Iran. Removing hijab is punishable offense in Iran.

What is the case ?
Police had arrested 22-year-old Mahasa Amini on 13th September for not wearing hijab. But after 3 days she died while taking to a hospital for becoming unconscious in jail. Mahasa had come to Tehran to meet her family. Soon after she was arrested she went into coma. She was taken to hospital, but till then she had died. According to her family Mahasa was healthy, her death was suspicious. Police denied the charge that Mahasa was beaten up by them in jail.
