Do not give any verdict without hearing Hindu side in the case of Gyanvapi
Hindus filing a petition in Allahabad High Court
Varanasi – Recently Varanasi Civil Court has given the verdict stating that the case related to Gyanvapi and Shrungar Gauri will continue further. Muslims are going to appeal in the High Court. Against this background, Hindus have filed a petition in the High Court demanding that unless the Hindu side is heard verdict should not be given on the petition. Mr Vishnu Shankar Jain representing Hindus informed about it.
Muslims are demanding permission to celebrate ‘Urus’ (Celebration of the death anniversary of their Dharmaguru) in Gyanvapi
Another petition has been already filed in the Civil Court by Muslims in this regard. Accordingly, permission is sought to offer ‘Chadar’ on the 3 Mazars (Tombs) in Gyanvapi premises, celebrate Urus, and perform other religious acts. The hearing is kept on 3rd October.
