Supreme Court grants bail to Jitendra Tyagi (formerly Waseem Rizvi)
Alleged hate speech case in the Dharma Sansad at Haridwar !
New Delhi – The Supreme Court has granted bail to Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi (formerly Waseem Rizvi) in connection with his alleged provocative speech in the Haridwar Parliament. Jitendra Tyagi has been accused of making an offensive speech against Islam and the Prophet in a Dharma Sansad (Council of Dharma) held in Haridwar.
A bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and BV Nagarathna imposed the condition that Tyagi should not make any statement in the media regarding the case.

He was granted conditional bail by the Supreme Court for 3 months in this case. A few months ago, Waseem Rizvi renounced Islam and embraced Hindu Dharma. Following that, he became a topic of discussion in the whole country. He was further criticised due to his alleged provocative speech in the Dharma Sansad at Haridwar. The Police registered a case and arrested him.
