Drugs worth Rs 200 crore seized from Kolkata port by Gujarat ATS

Kolkata – The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has seized drugs worth Rs 200 crore in a major anti-narcotics operation in Kolkata. According to Gujarat’s Anti-Terrorism Squad, 39.5 kg of narcotic drugs were being brought to India from Dubai hidden in gearboxes. In response to the information received, this action was taken.

For the past few months, the Gujarat ATS has been conducting massive operations against narcotics. In this case, out of 36 gear boxes, 12 gear boxes were marked with white colour to identify the drug boxes. According to Kolkata Police Inspector General Bhatia, other gearboxes are being examined and the action has not yet been completed.
